Introducing the Assumption School Board!
Assumption School’s Board of Education was revamped in September of 2022. 
Nine new members were added to the board and a committee structure was
reintroduced.  These committees and new members are committed to continuing
Assumption School’s tradition of academic excellence and the spiritual growth of our
students.

The Board leadership consists of Amber Troupe as president, Ben Soldaat as
vice president, Mike Tarwater as secretary, Father Tony, and Domenic Franconi as
principal as the administrative officer.  Ex officio members are Amanda Cusack, Home
& School president, and Kari Soldaat, Assumption Athletic Boosters president.  The ex
officio representatives from the Parish Finance and Parish Endowment Committees are
still at large. 

The Board is dedicated to keeping tuition affordable, providing our students with
the same academic and extracurricular opportunities that we historically have, and
rewarding our amazing staff for their hard work.  The Board is also excited to see the
phenomenal growth of the daycare program and hopes to see this growth continue.   In
relation to the nationwide concern of school security, the Board has been working with
school administration to improve our staff training and school building security.  
With new Board membership comes new and exciting ideas for fellowship while
fundraising, such as golf outings, parent & parishioner nights out, biennial Oktoberfest,
and fundraising walks.  Please stay tuned for more information on these events.
The four committees of the board are building and grounds, mission
effectiveness, planning & policy, and marketing.

The Board meetings are scheduled for
o Wednesday, February 22
o Wednesday, April 26
o Wednesday, June 28 

 Meetings are held at 7 pm in the School’s Science Lab.
 Meeting agendas and minutes will be available via the Blast or School website.
